Yeah I don't think it really needs a lot of water -- one of the keys of the microwave "egg poacher" thing I have * is that it has a clam-shell cover that folds over to close & create a sort of seal ** so the water (as well as I assume some moisture from the eggs themselves) turns to steam & that helps cook the eggs... don't know if I noted it or not, but once the ~2 minute "nuking" is done, I often let the eggs sit for another 1/2 to full minute with the cover on to let the residual heat & steam finish the cooking (I find if I take it out/open it up right away -- i.e. too fast -- a significant amount of steam comes off and the yolks end up slightly undercooked).

Plus of course YMMV -- the power setting & time to avoid the "exploding egg" is something you have to discover experimentally with your own particular microwave (mine is an EWave^TM brand 1000W output over-the-range thing I bought probably 15 years ago). You might try the same thing and just do a bit LESS than the 2 minutes (1:50s) -- use some kind of a cover -- and then also let them "sit" covered for a minute to finish.

I'm actually sort of "puzzled" that I've never seen anyone else make "deviled eggs" via anything other than hard-boiled -- just doesn't make any sense to me why no one else (at least apparently) has never done fast "poach" routine instead -- I mean it's not like using a microwave to poach eggs is uncommon; and just about every recipe book/cooking show does "deviled eggs"... so why doesn't anyone combine the two??? Weird.

Not that I don't cook & eat as plain "poached eggs"; it's just that since I've figured out this way of making "deviled eggs" so FAST & EASY -- well, otherwise they were always a relatively rare treat (delicatessens charge ridiculous prices for them*) -- usually only with holiday dinners like Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Easter (and then you sort of had to make certain you grabbed a couple of halves ASAP, because everyone else liked them too; and if you have a dozen people around at a meal, well even a dozen eggs -- making two dozen "deviled" half-eggs -- barely make it around the table when people get greedy).

I warn you: Everything below is going to sound complex, but they're really not. Everything is light on ingredients, but heavy on "holy crap, YOU made THIS?"
The next two are probably interchangeable for lunch/dinner, however they assume you have a grill (and a thermometer. do NOT cook pork tenderloin to 160F or I will find you. Medium rare (135F, maybe 140F) pork tenderloin is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
Also, make extra of the pickled onions and just leave them out on the table. Trust me, they'll disappear like candy.
idk If I can post this here but legit I am super into sous-vide and I did the egg thing as well but for the effort it didn't seem worth in my opinion from a quick breakfast pov bringing it to temp etc. etc. based on my mornings

Fucking fire it works perfectly I am obsessed with how easy and quick this is. bring the water to a boil.
and then just put them in and close the lid. 5 minutes no more no less for me and its always perfect always easy.

It's steel, not aluminum. It's stamped metal, nothing fancy and not an heirloom kinda thing. But for heating water and keeping eggs contained, it's fine. The eggs come out of the cups easily with a bit of Pam.
Moreover, it's quick, easy, and lets you think about other things.
Honestly, the "recipes" aren't complicated. It's mostly cutting and punching. A few tools go a long way.

One quick & easy breakfast that I like, prep time less than 3 minutes:

Poach 2 eggs (1min 37 seconds in my micro, yours may vary slightly) then heat up 1/3 cup of salsa (a good, chunky one, no sugar or similar crap added) for about 30 seconds and then dump eggs in salsa . Experience deliciousness. ~180 calories.
Another fast option is make oatmeal on the weekend (I like adding a little cocoa powder so it's like a lumpy, healthy chocolate pudding). You can freeze it in 1-cup measurements in tupperware, then remove from tupperware once frozen and store your "oatmeal bricks" in a large freezer bag (that way you can make a huge batch and don't need to worry about it getting moldy if you decide to do eggs & salsa instead for a few days in a row). Punch all the ingredients into MFP and the # of servings you end up with, and it will tell you the per-serving calorie count. In the morning, grab a "brick" and microwave it for about 3 min. Yum!
I do a similar thing with stew, I have a freezer full of delicious "stew bricks" for when I'm in a rush or it's just a cold day and I want something heathy and warming.
Why do you "create a whirlpool?" No motion in the water, especially if you have more than one egg. That's how you mix things; probably why your water goes cloudy.

Use the freshest eggs you can get. The thing of straining the egg to get rid of the runny albumen and keep only the firm albumen shouldn't be necessary, except with older eggs.

Use a relatively deep pot of water, more like 4" than 2". Get the water simmering. Give yourself a handicap and use a little cup. They come in teflon-coated metal or silicone. Crack the egg into a teacup or a ramekin, or a very small bowl. When you're sure you didn't break the yolk or get any shell in it, gently, ever so gently, pour the egg into the cup. Then, cook it on the heat for 2 minutes, then turn off the heat. BUT, leave it in the pan for another 8-10 minutes.

I use a poaching tray (more of a steam poached egg, as it is not immersed in the water). It requires so little water because it steams the egg/tray. I use the smallest pan it will fit in, with just 1cm or 1/2in of water. It boils/steams really fast, then I turn the heat down to medium/low. Spray a little cooking oil and crack the eggs in, then put the cover back on. I use dual spoons to get them out.
My mom had an old metal one like this. It is SUPER easy to use. Also who doesn't love having 2-3 eggs, just one poached egg is such a tease. They're SO GOOD!

Toast muffin(s), nuke bacon 45 - 60 seconds depending on your microwave, and nuke eggs for 50 or so seconds. Layer together with cheese. Voila! Delicious breakfast sandwich in under 5 minutes.
Edit to say: For convenience type items, I really like their microwaveable quiches. They're a four pack of a couple different kinds and they turn out pretty well in the microwave.

I know this may be cheating but I have a toaster/egg poacher combo that makes a pretty mean breakfast sandwich. There's a tray for hard boiling up to four eggs and a spot to heat up a piece of ham or sausage. Pretty much it's the greatest kitchen thing I have ever purchased.
I built it so long ago that I don't remember the exact parts, but it was pretty simple.
They key thing I did was use hard boiled egg holders to hold the touch controllers. Basically you drop the bottom of your touch controller into this holder, then wrap your hand around the egg holder itself. Holding both the controller in the holder, and the holder itself.
The PVC parts are just 1' PVC pipe with a pair of PVC 90 degree elbows. You'll need something to cut the PVC pipe, a hacksaw works well, I used a dremel, or you can pickup a pipe cutter while you're on amazon
I also used one small piece of 3/4 inch PVC pipe wrapped in duct tape to hold the AR-15 stock onto the end. This is a luxury, but as someone who shoots real guns a lot, having a real gun stock on the end of it really makes a difference to your cheek weld.. So if you want dat real AR feel, you can pickup an AR stock right here.. All you need is the plastic stock, the tube and all the other stuff isn't required. I just warpped the 3/4 inch PVC pip in tape until it fit VERY snuggly into one of the 1" PVC elbows. I left it about 6" long, so that the rreal AR-15 stock would slide over it. I used a bunch fo tape around the 3/4" PVC pipe until the AR-15 stock very snuggly.
You will also need some 5 minute epoxy, and I used some instamorph. I used the epoxy to glue the egg holders onto the PVC pipe, and then wrapped the bases in electrical tape. Make sure you scuff up the PVC pipe before putting the epoxy on. I used a knife to scratch it up, and then some snad paper to really rough it up. This helps the epoxy hold.
I wrapped the base of my touch controllers in plastic wrap, then I heated up the instamorph and placed a bunch of it in the egg holder. Then I pushed the touch controller into the egg holder, so that the instamorph took the shape of the touch controller. DO NOT use epoxy for this.
After that, all you need to do is cut your PVC pipe to length and put the 90 degree elbows on there. The AR 15 stock is optional, not required.
I also recommend a sling, so that you can pop your hands in and out of your stock as need be. When your done with the stock, it'll just hold on the sling. And old cheapy rifle sling will work.

My SO's favorite egg cook is poached and jeezuz this makes having poached eggs EVERY morning so EASY! I have 4 easy/medium poached eggs in under 5 minutes. Cleanup is an absolute breeze. It also looks SO PROFESSIONAL it is unreal. You can also flip the cooked eggs upside down (domed side up) and do that fancy yolks cut thing in about 1 second. I really wish that more restaurants would use these.
I wouldn't recommend having more than one meal repeat every day, since you can be missing lots of necessary nutrients. Try different types of fruit instead of just bananas. Apples, oranges, kiwis, strawberries, plums and all that just to keep it fresh.
Eggs are also super easy to make every now and then, especially with a microwavable poacher. Pop in the toast, microwave the eggs, and then you have delicious eggs on toast.
Just get a big box of the quaker oats rolled oatmeal, add water or skim milk and toss it in the microwave for 2 minutes.

Pop it in the microwave microwave for a minute, bam, you have cooked eggs. I use mine all the time. Use a little nonstick spray before cooking and you can wash it out in about 30 seconds.
Chicken salad is a solid lunch. I often also just make a double portion of something healthy for dinner and use it the next day for lunch as well.
I got away from grains entirely in the morning by making 2 poached eggs in a microwave poacher and 1 sliced of microwave-cooked bacon both of which I cook in my office kitchen. I throw in a piece of fruit for my morning sweet tooth. I am really happy with this and it keeps me satisfied until lunch
It's pretty good, considering the price and free shipping.
It's great for hard-boiled eggs (up to four at a time), although every once in a while one of them explodes and makes a mess. This used to happen to me all the time before I stopped buying extra-large eggs.
Also, wipe down the water-heating thing when it cools. Once egg residue gets cooked on, it's hard to clean. (The rest of the pieces can just go in the dishwasher.)
Another minor gripe is that if you cook eggs and toast at the same time, the toast doesn't pop up until the egg is finished, and by then the toast has cooled. Still, just a minor inconvenience.
Oh, and watch your fingers when pulling off the egg-cooking cover. No, seriously, steam is hot. I usually push down on the plastic handle for a few seconds to let some steam out the other side before pulling it up. And don't cook eggs underneath any wooden furniture; steam rises.
Altogether, I like it. It cooks toast. And it also cooks eggs. Simple enough.

I haven't tried it personally, but a quick google search shows a number of attempts by other people. (e.g. here's a post titled "Baked Eggs in a Muffin Tin".) I'm more familiar with cooking eggs in either individual ramekins that you place in a pot of simmering water and cover with a lid, or with an "egg poacher" (like this) rather than using a muffin tray and baking them though. Jacques Pepin has a number of examples of cooking eggs in ramekins (oeufs en cocotte, in French), which you might find interesting. 62.8°C for 45 minutes. Eggs were 700g and were in room temperature. I made 4 at a go, 2 for me and 2 for SO. I'm guessing size and number of eggs will make a difference.
To be honest, I find that it's sometimes easier to make eggs like these using the old school way back when I was in Malaysia. Cooks up to 4 eggs at one time. All you do is put the eggs in and pour hot water in, let it drip slowly into the container below and you're done!
Edit: Forgot to mention that I also smoked these bad boys with a smoking gun. Works well. Other thoughts are maybe drizzle some pesto over instead of smoking it.
Even easier yet: a microwave egg poacher. Crack a couple eggs, stab them with a fork, microwave for 1 minute, add whatever toppings you want, and you're good to go. I use this thing all the time, and it really is amazing.

Some people find different foods satiating. But these two are pretty common recommendations:
I assume you're the first person in the kitchen, so you should clean and season the grill before you use it. Whoever was using it the night before should have cleaned it, but you can't season the grill the night before at closing, so it's not really their fault it's not seasoned.
And like people said above temperature is key, but what the dial reads will depend on your grill. Some people keep one side a little lower for home fries. When I worked on a grill I had home fries on one side, then a space for pancakes and then the eggs on the hottest side, but not so hot that they would bubble up.
One place I worked had rings for the eggs and they worked OK for keeping the eggs from spreading out too much. They come in different sizes.
I have a whisk with a small silicone ball on the end of each wire. Perfect for mixing a sauce or a gravy in a non-stick pan.

The way we've done it in the past is that we crack the egg into a ladle, I give the vinagar'd water a good spin (but not hard enough to make the water dimple more than about an inch down), and then we dump the egg into the vortex. The 'shreds' of egg that spin off wrap around the egg, and then as the spinning slows we fish it out.
There's also these cool little silicone egg poaching cups that you float.

I wouldn't expect any of those things to last forever, but they're cheap and should last you at least a couple years.
With those, obviously you could make bacon & eggs. You could also steam cauliflower for cauli mash?

I'd recommend this instead. Can't make a scramble in it, but it's really fast and not difficult to clean if you do it right after you empty it.
